Graduation Day

I left Toronto a gradutund and returned from Kingston a graudate.

The last year at Queen's has been really amazing. I took the opportunity to indulge in some electives and I think I have really grown intellectually and personally. I spent so many months haunting the windowless economics classrooms with my calculator in one hand the the financial post in the other. I can look back on it and laugh, but at the time I would have been far too sleep deprived to see the humour in it all. Once I started looking to the other social sciences, I began to have a deeper understanding of the issues I am interested in.

University is done, but my learning is not over. University is merely an introduction to the fields of knowledge. One who thinks they have total knowledge after a bachelor's degree or even more advanced training is foolish. I plan on keeping my mind open to new developments and always intent on learning new things.
